AirQuote (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides satellite-based informational cost estimates for home services including roofing, solar installation, and solar panel cleaning. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
- Property address — used to generate your estimate via satellite imagery and publicly available data.
- Contact information — name, phone number, and optionally email address, provided when you submit the lead capture form.
- Project details — urgency timeframe you select.
- Usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, collected automatically via cookies and the Meta Pixel.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and display your informational cost estimate.
- To share your contact information with up to 3 licensed local contractors who may contact you by phone, text, or email regarding your estimate (only with your explicit consent).
- To improve our service and understand usage patterns.
- To serve relevant advertising via the Meta Pixel.
4. Sale of Personal Information
Under California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and equivalent state laws, sharing your contact information with contractors in exchange for compensation constitutes a “sale” of personal data. We only do this with your explicit consent via the checkbox on our lead capture form.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how it is used.
- Delete your personal information. We will respond to deletion requests within 45 days.
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information.
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
6. Do Not Sell My Personal Information
To opt out of the sale of your personal information, email us at privacy@airquote.orgwith the subject line “Do Not Sell.” We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals.
7. Opt-Out of Communications
You may opt out of contractor communications at any time by contacting us at privacy@airquote.org. We will process opt-out requests within 10 business days. Per upcoming FCC rules, opting out of one channel opts you out of all channels.
8. Data Retention
Satellite-derived estimate data is retained for up to 30 days per Google Solar API Terms of Service. Contact information is retained until you request deletion.
9. Third-Party Services
- Google Solar API & Maps — satellite imagery and solar potential analysis. Subject to Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Supabase — database hosting. Data stored in accordance with their security practices.
- Meta Pixel — advertising analytics. Subject to Meta’s Privacy Policy.
- Vercel — hosting infrastructure.
10. Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and the Meta Pixel for advertising analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
